The Virtus Arena was transformed into a stage for sports, excitement and values during Olidata Day, celebrated during the great Italian basketball classic between Virtus Olidata Bologna and EA7 Emporio Armani Olimpia Milano. An intense and spectacular game, which ended with a victory for the Vu Nere, made the evening even more memorable for the fans and guests in attendance.
But Olidata Day was much more than just a sporting challenge: at the heart of the evening were four key words that embody Olidata’s identity and principles: Vision, Value, Determination and Victory.
To celebrate these principles, four symbolic awards were presented to figures from the worlds of entertainment and sports who, through their professional and personal journeys, embody these ideals: Claudia Gerini, Jury Chechi, Ambra Angiolini and Marco Belinelli. The awards ceremony was attended by Olidata President Cristiano Rufini, Virtus Bologna President Massimo Zanetti, and Vice President Giuseppe Sermasi.
Olidata Day also had a significant social impact thanks to the participation of young people from FANEP (Families of Pediatric Neurology), an organization dedicated to supporting children with neurological conditions and their families. Their presence helped turn the evening into an opportunity for raising awareness and sharing experiences, demonstrating how sports can serve as a powerful tool for drawing attention to important social issues.
