Innovation can best demonstrate its true value when it makes a tangible contribution to the well-being of individuals and the community. With this vision in mind, Olidata S.p.A. is supporting FANEP ODV – Famiglie Neurologia Pediatrica in the NEULab project, an initiative dedicated to the mental and neuropsychiatric health of children and adolescents.
The project represents an important response to the growing challenges faced by young people and their families in the field of child and adolescent neuropsychiatry. Through its contribution, Olidata has chosen to support an organisation that has been committed for years to helping children, young people and families navigating complex pathways of care and support.
From Olidata Day to tangible support
The partnership also stems from the shared experience at Olidata Day, which took place on 15 March 2026 during the league match between Virtus Olidata Bologna and Olimpia Milano.
On that occasion, a group of young people from FANEP took part in the pre-match ceremony, presenting awards to figures who embody the company’s values. It was a significant moment, strengthening the bond between Olidata and FANEP and transforming a shared set of values into a concrete commitment to supporting the younger generation.
NEULab: innovation and the central role of the family
Olidata’s contribution will go towards funding NEULab, a project promoted by FANEP in collaboration with the Emilia-Romagna Region, the University of Bologna, the IRCCS Sant’Orsola, the IRCCS Institute of Neurological Sciences of Bologna and the Municipality of Bologna.
NEULab proposes a multidisciplinary approach that integrates neuroscience, integrative medicine and innovative technologies. The project involves the use of advanced tools, including virtual reality and biofeedback, alongside activities such as pet therapy, horticulture and multisensory workshops.
At the heart of the programme lies the family, recognised not only as the child or adolescent’s primary environment, but as an active participant in the therapeutic and support process.
Social responsibility as part of innovation
For Olidata, supporting FANEP and the NEULab project means interpreting innovation from a broad perspective: not only technological development, digital infrastructure and advanced skills, but also a focus on vulnerability, research and people’s quality of life.
