Maurizio Nasso, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Olidata, spoke at the Chamber of Deputies during the event ‘Telecommunications between Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence: protecting networks for the country’s security’, held in the Sala del Refettorio at Palazzo San Macuto.
Nasso took part in the panel discussion “Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and Network Governance: Opportunities and Risks”, presenting Olidata’s perspective on a number of key issues for the country’s digital future: network protection, national security, technological autonomy and the responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence.
In his speech, Olidata’s CEO and Managing Director emphasised that cybersecurity can no longer be viewed merely as technological innovation, but must be underpinned by a governance framework capable of reducing dependencies, lock-in and risks associated with the unregulated use of AI.
Particular attention was also paid to agent-based AI and the issue of the legal personality of virtual agents, one of the key challenges to be addressed in order to build a secure, regulated and sustainable digital ecosystem.
Olidata’s participation confirms the Group’s commitment to developing advanced technological solutions and promoting a model of responsible innovation, in which cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and governance are concrete tools for strengthening the security, technological autonomy and defensive capabilities of the Country.
